Diet: bamboo or cane, aquatic plants, grasses, sedges, tree seedlings, and leaves
Description:
Length: 17.7 - 21.7 inches

Color: The coarse fur is a dark rusty brown on the back and sides, and
the belly is
white. A black spot is present between the ears.

Coastal Plain.
